Vanessa in the Cheryl Dress and Kerry Veil
A relaxed, sun-filled Italian celebration and a bridal look that was minimal, considered, and entirely her own.

“What initially drew me to the brand was how Halfpenny re-imagined traditional wedding styles and made them super modern.” Vanessa, co-founder of Bessette, came to the Halfpenny London boutique knowing exactly how she wanted to feel: classic with a fashion twist.
THE DRESS
Vanessa chose the Cheryl Dress and the Kerry Veil with lace appliqué. The Cheryl’s halterneck silhouette gave her the clean, minimal lines she was drawn to, while the Kerry Veil brought something altogether more unexpected. “The Kerry veil is SO unique and really added that uniqueness to the whole look.” As the evening unfolded, she wore it as a shrug — a final transformation that felt as effortless as the rest of the day.
THE DAY
Vanessa and Toby’s vision was simple: everyone they love, having the best time. “We are really easy going and love to just have a good time.” Held at Terre di Nano in Tuscany, the day delivered on every part of that promise – relaxed, joyful, and full of warmth. Her bridal look carried the same spirit by being minimal with a twist, and completely, unmistakably her.
