Tizzy in the PHOENIX Corset and TIDE SKIRT

A whimsical English country house celebration, where Midsummer Night's Dream met a very modern bride.

"This was definitely the best experience I had on my journey to find a dress." Tizzy arrived at the Halfpenny London boutique with a sense of what she wanted — and left with something she hadn't expected, and loved all the more for it.

THE DRESS

Tizzy chose a two-piece Phoenix Corset and Tide Skirt — not the dress she had imagined choosing, but the one that felt unmistakably right. "I felt it really suited me." The cut of the corset won her over immediately: modern and precise, it paired beautifully against the softness of the tulle skirt. With the team’s encouragement to try pieces she might otherwise have passed over, the combination revealed itself naturally.

What made it truly her own was how it transformed across the day. For the evening, Tizzy swapped the tulle skirt for white trousers — a change that gave her the freedom to move and dance without compromise. Two distinct looks, one dress, and a vision carried through from ceremony to celebration.

THE DAY

Tizzy and George brought together the elegance of a traditional English country house wedding with something altogether more magical — "a bit of Midsummer Night's Dream and Lord of the Rings thrown in." Held at Findon Place and filled with beautiful colour and abundant greenery, the day felt exactly as they had always intended: whimsical, joyful, and entirely their own.
