For Niamh, finding her wedding dress began at Halfpenny London. The Woburn Walk boutique was the first bridal store she visited, and after that initial appointment, she knew her search was complete. From the warmth of the team to the thoughtful styling process, her journey unfolded with ease, trust, and a deep sense of confidence from the very beginning.

THE DRESS

“It was always the Summer dress for me,” she says. “It was the very first wedding dress I ever tried on, the one I felt most comfortable in, and the one I was most excited by.” To make the look feel even more personal, she added the Ariel bow. She had always imagined walking down the aisle in a dramatic skirt, and chose to style the Evalie skirt with her dress.

Living in London while her family were based in Ireland meant many appointments were attended solo, something made easier by the continuity and support of the Halfpenny team. “Having Izy there from start to finish felt like I did have a friend there, and I knew I could trust her.”

Niamh completed her bridal look with meaningful heirlooms,  wearing her mother’s pearls from her own wedding day alongside her Claddagh ring, carrying with her a piece of both London and Galway.

THE DAY

Niamh and Evan chose a Christmas wedding so their loved ones could gather together during the festive season. Set at Ballynahinch Castle, the celebration unfolded over two days with all guests staying on site.

Their vision was simple and heartfelt: a wholesome winter gathering filled with warmth and tradition. Fireside pints of Guinness, Irish sing-alongs, and comforting food created an atmosphere that felt intimate and deeply rooted in their heritage.
