Beautiful Holly | A halfpenny London bride
Gorgeous couple Holly and Oliver said “I do” in August last year with a traditional english wedding at Came House in Dorchester.
“We instantly fell in love with Came House,” Holly said. “It had everything we wanted, from the orangery for our ceremony, the gardens, the house which we rented for the weekend for our friends and family and a marquee for the party!”
It’s easy to see why they loved the venue so much and these beautiful images by Steph Newton really capture how happy Holly and Oliver were on their big day.
“As a very indecisive person, I knew finding a wedding dress wouldn’t be an easy task, but I did know that I wanted something simple like my own style. I went to see MANY different wedding designers and shops, but I couldn’t find exactly what I was after. Halfpenny was such a lovely experience, the staff were extremely friendly and so helpful with pictures, advice and Prosecco!
I had my heart set on the Cheryl dress before my first appointment and I was convinced I would be taking it home with me. I was given a few other styles to try, including the Harbour dress which I hadn’t seen before. After a lot of deliberating, I decided to go for the Harbour dress! I felt so comfortable and confident in it which is something I worried about beforehand. There are so many stunning dresses at Halfpenny with big sleeves, skirts and beautiful details but in the end I knew that I had to stick to my own style and what suits me best.”
Holly looked incredible in our Harbour dress and I’m so pleased she followed her gut and went with the choice that was right for her. Every woman has a different experience in finding their perfect wedding dress and I always say to go with your gut and trust yourself in how that dress makes you feel. It was clearly the right choice for Holly!
