City Wedding Inspiration by Zach&Grace

Something we’ve always seen from our couples, yet has only been amplified by the past year or so, is that they’re making a real decision to do things their own way. I always say “be the bride you want to be” and this gorgeous shoot by Zach&Grace showcases so many stunning, yet completely different Halfpenny London looks for a chic, city wedding.

Weddings have changed and couples are now free from the preconceptions about what their day “should” look like and this extends to outfit choice too. Many brides are also looking to make a double-duty purchase when it comes to their wedding look and choosing pieces they can incorporate into their wardrobe afterwards. I never want my brides to think about their wedding outfit as a single-wear item. These are finely crafted garments which will last a lifetime and even the big ballgown skirts can be shortened and worn again with a cashmere sweater, for example.

I love the super cute, puff-ball mini-skirt with the Neptune blazer thrown on top, and the cigarette pants and simple corset with the dramatic cape flowing in the breeze. Brides can really show their personality in their wedding outfit so the dramatic, beaded elder dress and cape is a show-stopping look for a bride who loves to make an entrance, while the Tulip dress with its stunning beading and tulle bursting out of those godets is one of my very favourite looks.
