Beautiful Samantha | A real Halfpenny London bride

Beautiful bride Samatha and her new husband had a whirlwind few weeks this summer! The couple had only been engaged for three weeks before they decided to get married in two weeks time! What can I say, when you know, you know, am I right?

“My husbands parents, siblings and most of extended family live abroad and, with cases rising and the future so uncertain here, we decided why wait when we could start our lives together,” Samantha said. “As we only had two weeks to plan I had previously been looking at wedding dresses online and knew I wanted to go to Halfpenny. It was the first shop I went to and had chosen within the hour!”

Samantha came to us with no time to waste and chose from a selection of our sample dresses, eventually choosing our Iris slip, Mayfair skirt and plain Blossom top. She finished off her stunning look with a silky tulle veil.

“I had seen the Mayfair skirt online and loved it with the Iris slip. As I had such a short time between visiting your store and getting married I had to choose from your existing samples and couldn’t believe my luck you had it in my size. I wanted to feel like me on my wedding day and not be weighed down under the weight of my dress and knew I didn’t want a meringue. It was the perfect outfit for me. I felt so special. I just adore it and always will.”

Samantha chose bright and beautifully wild flowers which went with the relaxed, happy feel of the day.

“It was very special and apart from my husband’s family we wouldn’t have changed a thing! Our micro wedding was our dream wedding!”
