Beautiful Joscelin | A Halfpenny London bride
Beautiful bride Joscelin and her new husband Chris celebrated their love in March this year in a relaxed, garden themed wedding with flower crowns, pizza, cocktails, photobooth fun and disco!
“We knew we’d found our venue as soon as we’d walked into the Secret Garden in Kent.” Joscelin said. ”Beautiful gardens and courtyard and the feel was exactly what we were looking for. We also wanted to bring our dog Babs along. She’s a rescue and very much part of our family so having lots of outdoor space was perfect.”
Our Bloomsbury boutique was the first shop Joscelin visited on her wedding dress search, accompanied by her friend, Sophie, who was a previous Halfpenny bride.
“I’d seen the Oak dress on your stories. Immediately fell in love. Messaged. Booked in. Tried on and bought it! It was absolutely meant to be.
[When I arrived for my appointment] the dress was there, ready and waiting for me. I tried on one other outfit just to be sure because this really was the first dress I’d tried! It was a top and trouser combination because I’d always thought I’d wear a jumpsuit to my wedding. It was lovely but the Oak dress was the one. I just loved the simplicity and elegance. It encapsulated everything I love. So classic, but also modern.'“
Joscelin completed her look with a long veil, flower headband, Mulberry clutch, and a pair of Dolce & Gabbana platform heels which she swapped for Converse trainers for dancing. Her bouquet was vibrant and joyful, perfectly capturing the festival-like feeling of the day.
I’m thrilled Joscelin found her dream dress with us. She looks totally stunning and I wish her and Chris every happiness in their new lives together.
