Lovely Steph | A real Halfpenny London bride

Beautiful bride Steph and her new hubby Marty tied the knot last summer in Kingdom which is a venue set in a magical 13-acre woodland in Penshurst, Kent. Steph tells us the architect built the building from tree trunks salvaged from the great British storm in 1987 so it’s easy to see why the couple fell in love with it.

Halfpenny was the first boutique Steph visited having seen the George top and skirt on Instagram and knew it was the outfit she wanted.

“The George top felt very ‘me’. It’s the sort of top I could see myself in for other occasions aside from my wedding  (in another colour of course). The top and skirt complimented my figure, I literally felt like a movie star in it!”

I’ve always loved hearing feedback like this from our lovely brides. I absolutely adore designing dresses but the very best thing about my job is seeing how happy our brides look on their big day. Steph completed her bridal look with earrings from Kasun London, a jewellery designer based in Bermondsey.

Huge congratulations to Steph and Marty! We wish you every happiness in your new adventures together!

Love,
