Stunning Siobhan | A real Halfpenny London bride

We have a very special wedding to share with you today. Not only was beautiful bride Siobhan and her new hubby’s wedding day stunning in every way possible, the lovely bride is actually a superhero member of the frontline NHS staff working around the clock right now in the face of coronavirus. I’m sure you’ll all join me in thanking this amazing lady for everything she and her colleagues do, now and always.

So, without further ado, let’s dive right into this joyful wedding. Siobhan married the love of her life in July last year in Tuscany. I’m especially loving these destination weddings at the moment and this one is utterly stunning! The couple wanted to have a simple, elegant theme but with a modern twist.

“Prior to visiting Halfpenny, I had tried a lot of dresses on and was starting to really dislike wedding dress shopping. I was starting to lose hope. I thought I knew what style of dress I wanted from looking online but looking at dresses on other people is so misleading. It can look completely different on you and your shape.

My experience at the Halfpenny London boutique was was AMAZING!! The showroom blew me away at how stunning it was. I was getting good vibes from the minute I entered. Within the first couple of minutes of meeting the fabulous stylist I felt so comfortable, like we had been friends for years which made everything so much easier because I was on my own for this appointment. It only took a matter of minutes for me to choose my dream dress, cape and skirt and for the rest of my appointment we just laughed and chatted about all things life.

I soon realised after trying so many dresses on, that the fairytale, emotional feeling that some brides-to-be experience wasn’t something that I thought I was going to get. I was totally ok with that, I just wanted to feel the better version of myself in what I was going to wear and that’s exactly how I felt when I tried on the Iris dress. I absolutely loved the cape and it complimented the whole outfit, especially as I wasn’t too keen on a veil. The Maribou skirt was just something so special and totally changed the outfit from day to night. The dress I ended up choosing was nothing like what I had tried on before, it was a bit of a wild card. I had never tried such a simple dress and the cape just made it. I then got carried away and added the skirt. It was like three outfits, I just loved it.”

To add a glorious finishing touch, she wore a sparkly pair of Gucci shoes and a bespoke crown by Tilly Thomas Lux purchased from our boutique.

Siobhan, thank you so much for sharing these gorgeous images with us. I’m so pleased we were able to play a small part in your big day. So much love to you both from me and all the Halfpennys!

Love,

Kate xxx
