Stunning Natalie | A Halfpenny London bride
Gorgeous couple Natalie and Simon celebrated their love in a beautiful wedding this February and photographer Cat Arwel was there to capture every moment.
Natalie had one destination in mind when it came to wedding dress shopping:
“Halfpenny was the first and only experience I had shopping for dresses,” she said. “I had left shopping for dresses quite late, with only 6 months to go as I had kept putting if off. My first appointment was dreamy! Megan, my stylist, was so calm and reassuring. She was really good at taking on board my thoughts on every dress I tried on. She would take what I liked and suggested the next style from that feedback. It was so much fun, which is surprising for me to say as I really do not feel comfortable in dresses usually. It had been a little stressful beforehand as my original appointment was on what turned out to be the HOTTEST day of the year! 40 degree heat and trying on dresses did not sound fun and luckily the girls at Halfpenny convinced me to change the appointment to get the most out of it. It got changed to the Saturday after the original date and it was just a lovely and special experience. I went in there with a definite style I thought I was going to get but came out with something completely different!”
Natalie decided on our Daffodil dress and Maple skirt and she looked utterly stunning.
“The Daffodil style is so flattering and I loved the off the shoulder neckline. It’s simple and gorgeous on it’s own but I always knew I wanted an element of difference to my wedding outfit and the hand embroidery on the Maple skirt gave that to me. It’s a beautiful fitted skirt which sparkles and made me feel fabulous. It’s so cliché but it just felt like the one. I felt confident and beautiful in it.”
Natalie completed her look with a gorgeous autumnal bouquet and simple accessories including a borrowed vintage gold bangle from her mother-in-law.
