A stunning bride wears different Halfpenny London outfits for a fabulous destination wedding spanning multiple days.

Newlyweds Harriet and Vinny Shiels married in a beautiful destination wedding in the Summer of 2023, beginning the joyful celebrations in a traditional church, followed by a reception at home. The couple wanted their guests to have an incredible time and made sure everyone had lots of fun!

Harriet started her bridal journey at our Bloomsbury boutique and quickly fell in love with her dream look.

“I wanted shopping for a wedding dress to be light hearted and relaxed and it was exactly that,” Harriet said. “The second dress I tried on was the winner and we added different layers and pieces to create various looks for the day.”

Choosing our Oliver dress as the base, Harriet chose to add the Magnolia dress for a demure ceremony look then switched to the beaded Elder cape for the reception. For the first dance, she chose the delicate frilled and beaded Acorn skirt, then the final look of the night saw her rock the gorgeous fit and flare Oliver with the Sun sleeves.

For the drinks the night before I wore the Henson trousers and Harbour top, I felt so comfortable and relaxed in this outfit -perfect for drinks by the sea. For me it was all about a feeling. I felt completely myself, but a slightly elevated version and I knew I would be able to move freely and dance in all the pieces...incredibly important.”

Harriet looked incredible in every outfit. Multiple looks were such a great choice and it really kept the guests guessing throughout the celebrations! I honestly can’t choose a favourite look! I’m thrilled Harriet chose to wear Halfpenny London on her special day and wish her and Vinny every happiness in the world.
