Gorgeous Kate | A real Halfpenny London bride

Beautiful bride Kate and her beau wanted their wedding to feel as relaxed and personal as possible and, by the looks of these gorgeous images, they had the day of their dreams. 

Kate came to see us during her dress search and was lucky enough to find her gown in our sample sale!

“Although I’d been to other lovely wedding dress boutiques, I’d often felt slightly overwhelmed by choice, and at times pressured into being made to feel like I’d found “the dress” when I knew I wasn’t completely sure.

The experience walking into the Halfpenny boutique was immediately different to any other store I’d been to. The boutique is beautiful and the staff immediately made me feel at ease. I bought my dress during a sample sale, and the experience couldn’t have been lovelier. The wonderful Halfpenny stylists were by my side the entire time, advising me on different styles, and really listened to what I was looking for.”

Kate chose our timeless Daffodil dress after instantly knowing it was the one the second she stepped into it.

“I felt special the moment I tried it on, and I knew immediately it was the one I wanted to get married in. Funnily enough, it was the first wedding dress I ‘pinned’ to my wedding board (which I realised weeks after buying it!) I tried on dozens of dresses at various different stores, and while I loved a few, the moment I tried on the Daffodil dress I just knew it was the one. I wasn’t sure initially whether I wanted a veil or not - but after trying one in the store, I knew I had to have one (plus… when else in life do you have an opportunity to wear one?)”

Keen to make her wedding feel as personal as possible, Kate brought that into her flowers and accessories. She wore her grandmother's sapphire engagement ring as ‘something blue’, and her mother-in-law made her bouquet.
