Beautiful Antonia | A Halfpenny London bride
The sheer joy in these pictures is making me smile from ear to ear today! Just look at that newlywed bliss! Beautiful bride Antonia and her new husband said “I do” in an intimate wedding last autumn.
“In a world of isolation, which we felt the world-over,” said Antonia, “we wanted our intimate wedding to be full of carefree joy and love – the abundance of friendship played a huge part in our day and our favourite seasonal flowers to represent the happiness in our lives, then and now.”
Antonia chose the Saluman dress from our Songbird collection and it was the perfect choice for her!
“I ended up falling in love with a dress selected by one of your stylists, rather than anything I had selected. [The stylist] took the time to get to know me, even in a short time and she was spot on. [Our appointment was] an incredible experience for my Mum and I, even in masks…!”
Keen to keep her look very natural for a city wedding, Antonia chose not to wear a veil and allowed those gorgeous sleeves with upcycled silk organza flowers - each one made by my mum! - to do all the talking. Her bouquet and the buttonholes were made using fresh, seasonal flowers from her family’s home garden, a lovey touch!
