Lovely Emma | A real Halfpenny London bride
Beautiful bride Emma and her lovely hubby said “I do” in February this year at The Crazy Bear in Stadhampton. The couple embraced The quirky style of their venue and concentrated on a colour scheme of black, gold and white.
Emma’s search for her perfect wedding dress led her to us at our boutique in Bloomsbury after seeing the lovely Lydia Millen’s fabulous wedding dress.
“I had visited 3 boutiques prior to visiting Halfpenny London and tried on multiple dresses. I asked at one of the boutiques if I would know when the dress was “the one” and if this was an actually feeling I would get and the woman said that I would just know. I was so excited to visit Halfpenny London as I had seen Lydia Elise Millen’s photos of her wedding on Pinterest and loved the Halfpenny vibe. The stylist made my first Halfpenny visit exciting and special. When I came back for my second appointment, I was lucky enough to meet Kate Halfpenny herself. Kate stayed for my appointment and saw me trying on different styles which was the most wonderful moment, I was completely star struck! The whole process of choosing to collecting my dress was just perfect. The Woburn Walk boutiques are definitely where the magic happens.
I chose the daffodil top and ivy skirt as the skirt was nothing like I had seen before, the way it moved and fitted was just perfect and the daffodil top felt classy and elegant. I knew it was “the one”, as I finally had that feeling. I couldn’t stop thinking about it after the appointment. I loved the fact that it was a top and skirt as I took the daffodil top with me on our mini-moon to Cornwall and paired it up with some high-waisted lilac trousers. I also plan to get the ivy skirt taken up and I can’t wait to wear the whole outfit again!”
