Beautiful Clare | A Halfpenny London bride

Beautiful couple Clare and Elliot Smith tied the knot in May this year. The couple worked with the natural beauty of their venue, Brinkburn, Northumberland, adding a soft colour palette with touches of gold to bring it all together.

Clare’s wedding dress search brought her to our London boutique where she fell in love with the silk Charlotte dress.

“I’d been to two suppliers before visiting Halfpenny and had two more after visiting. Safe to say I cancelled the other appointments because I knew nothing would compare to the Charlotte. Every wedding dress you try on is so beautiful, but nothing compared to the quality and detail at Halfpenny. The Charlotte was the first dress I saved, and I knew I just wanted to be a Halfpenny bride.

The appointment at Halfpenny was just amazing, I felt so at ease. I went with my mum during Covid, she cried instantly and even the Halfpenny London stylist got emotional. It was just a truly special moment. I just fell in love with the material and quality of the dress. Also, the train and how it moved on was just incredible. It’s funny, people always say when you know you know but it’s true. This dress was the only one I felt emotional in, and I instantly pictured myself walking down the aisle in it. For me this dress was just the dream.”

It certainly was a dream! The dress was perfect for Clare and her Jimmy Choo shoes and long, plain veil were the perfect finishing touches. She looked radiant on her big day and I’m over the moon to have played a small part of it.
