Beautiful Jess | A Halfpenny London bride

Lovely bride Jess married her new husband Chris with an informal, joyous celebration this summer. Chris’ family are Norwegian, so the couple incorporated nods to his heritage (like Kransekake cake) and Chris wore Norwegian national dress.

Jess was struggling to find what she was looking for before visiting our boutique in Woburn Walk.

“I wanted something chic but with a bit of drama and I knew that lace or sparkles wouldn’t be for me,” she said. “There were lots of things I loved at Halfpenny so I could have easily come away with many looks… I settled for 2 different accessories!”

Jess loved our Thea dress which she wore with a Mikado belt, and was attracted to the statement items like the Ariel bow and the Blaze shrug “because it gives the drama of a veil (with the train!) but in a less conventional way”. She looked totally stunning and I love her choice of looks for her big day.

Congratulations to the newlyweds! Sending you both all the love in the world for your new adventures together!

Love,

Kate & the Halfpennys xxx
