Gorgeous Stephanie | A Halfpenny London bride

Beautiful bride Stephanie Drymiotou married Sébastien Hartmann in September last year. The couple always knew tradition wasn’t for them, and they wanted the day to be unique and personal, combining old world elegance with modern, rebellious touches.

When the time came for Stephanie’s dress search, she already knew where she wanted to go…!

“Halfpenny London was actually my first appointment,” Stephanie said. “It had to be the first. I heard so much about Halfpenny London; about how fun and special their appointments were, about the quality of the fabrics and beauty of their designs! And it was true! Both my maid of honour and I immediately fell in love with the intimate space and the gorgeous designs. We did not want to leave!

The appointment felt like having a glass of champagne and a chat with a really close friend. I felt like the Halfpennys really wanted to help me achieve my dream wedding look. The stylist provided guidance and support while at the same time giving me space for true creative expression.”

Stephanie found her dream look in the Riri skirt and a cropped top version of our Victor dress.

“I initially tried several tops on my first appointment but I always wanted the top to be something which was ballet-like. And then I saw the Victor dress and felt its upper part was exactly what I dreamt of. It was perfect! I loved how flexible the team was to help me create a dress which I really loved, felt comfortable in and reflected a bit of my character.

I knew this was my dress because it felt like home! It was me! It was incredible how I never dreamt of my wedding dress and yet the Halfpennys managed to create one. A dress I danced all night in and loved it! The Victor dress as a top was nicely fitted, with clean disciplined lines and fresh. And the Riri skirt had a bit of drama - playful, with a bit of sass and plenty of old school romance.”

I never, ever tire of seeing my beautiful bride’s wedding pictures and Stephanie looks utterly incredible! She completed her look with stunning paper flowers handmade by Sebastién’s mother using Japanese and Korean paper - a lovely, personal gesture.

I’ve loved sharing this lovely wedding with you and I hope you love it as much as I do. Huge congratulations to the happy couple!

So much love,

Kate & the Halfpennys xxx
