Gorgeous Mel | A Halfpenny London bride

Thank you so much to lovely photographer Rosie Kelly for sharing these gorgeous images with us. This beautiful bride chose to pair our Cheryl dress with the Madeleine veil from our Unveiled collection. The veil features a split detail at the back of the head, which creates the most beautiful draped cowl back.

We always try to find the beauty in the tiniest piece of cloth and the Madeleine is embellished with silk organza flowers which are hand made using off-cuts of fabric from one of our best selling skirts, the Riri. I’d been saving those off-cuts for years and it’s wonderful to create these beautiful things from what would have been waste. We always try to repurpose off-cuts where possible and any left over fabrics we are unable to re-use are donated to schools and universities to use in their own designs to inspire the next generation.
