A stunning Halfpenny London bride chose a fit and flare dress with a sheer, silk organza overskirt for a traditional wedding on The Isle of Wight.

Newlyweds Naomi and William Thomas tied the knot this summer in a relaxed countryside wedding. The couple live in the Isle of Wight and really wanted a joyous celebration which reflect their lifestyle. The day started with a beautiful Church service followed by a reception in a rustic barn which was decorated with wildflowers.

After a surprise proposal in the Maldives, Naomi was eager to start her dress journey.

“Once I got over the surprise and shock of being engaged,” she said, “one of the first things I started to think about was THE dress. I visited a couple of bridal shops but nothing felt right. I came across Halfpenny by chance and knew I would find my dream dress at Woburn walk.”

“My entire experience at Halfpenny was just amazing. The shop is beautiful and it was refreshing to be trying on samples which actually fit! Lola helped me find my dress in my first appointment and Summer tailored it to fit me perfectly. The Dayton dress had the hidden support I needed and complemented my figure. It was super light to wear and when layered with the Mayfair skirt it just felt like me. I knew it was the one as I didn’t want to take it off! It was the only dress I wanted Will to see me wearing as I walked down the aisle.”

Naomi paired her look with a beautiful unstructured wildflower bouquet and chose a pair of Jimmy Choo heels. The bow accents compliment the texture of the Mayfair skirt perfectly.
