Beautiful Mara | A Halfpenny London bride

Beautiful bride Mara and her new husband Gábor celebrated their love in May this year at Sorg Villa near Budapest. The couple were keen for the decor to be elevated and airy to contrast with the rustic and earthy feel of the venue. Surrounded by trees and greenery, they embraced a simple, timeless colour scheme for their big day.

Mara’s search for her dream wedding dress led her to our London flagship store:

“I didn’t go anywhere else!” Mara said. “A friend of mine told me about Halfpenny London (she got her dress from you a while ago) and after I visited your website and saw the “Out of this World” collection, I knew I was a Halfpenny London bride! I was sure I’d go for the Cheryl dress for a long time, but the combination of the Oliver dress with the gorgeous, decadent Sun sleeves felt so special. It was unlike anything I’d ever seen.”

We do always try to encourage our lovely brides to have an open mind when they come to see us and, although I'm sure Mara would have looked incredible in the Cheryl, the outfit she chose could not have been more perfect for her! She finished off her look with a headpiece by Tilly Thomas Lux and Jimmy Choo platform shoes.
