Beautiful Alexia | A Halfpenny London bride
Beautiful bride Alexia and her new husband celebrated their love this summer in a Greek Orthodox wedding in Cyprus. The couple chose a Black & White theme and Alexia set out to find the outfits of her dreams.
“I was familiar with the Halfpenny collection from internet browsing as I was looking for inspiration on black wedding outfits. As an architect I am mostly dressed in black colour and straight-line clothes. Puff sleeves, geometric shapes but mostly dark. I could never see myself in a White Dress but, given that we decided to have a Greek Orthodox wedding, a black outfit would be out of the question, and so would the trousers option that I sooo love!
I fell in love with the Iris slip and Daniel sleeves which was the first options I tried. I was reluctant to try anything else as I thought that I had found the one! I was encouraged to try two more dresses, including an A-line more princess-like one: the Ellie. I was initially saying it is so not me, then I fell in love with it and decided to buy both dresses. It was love at first sight!”
Alexia looked incredible in both outfits and I love these beautiful images by Theo Georgiades, showcasing the wonderful newlywed joy! It looked like quite the party!
