The Painter Collection launched at LBFW | New Collection by Halfpenny London

“From the moment I laid eyes on Vittorio Matteo Corcos’s work, I was completely drawn into his sumptuous world. I love everything about it, from the combination of colours and textures to the sense of pride and grandeur exuding from the frame. As a constant collector of portraits old and new, I’m fascinated by their romance and intimacy. The ability of a truly wonderful artist to allow the viewer to glimpse the character and spirit of the subject, as seen through the artist’s eyes, is incredibly inspiring to me. In The Painter collection, I offer brides a window into my world and I’m very excited to present this collection of contemporary, yet timeless designs.”

Kate Halfpenny

The Painter collection by Halfpenny London celebrates the intrigue of the subject, the passion of the artist and the beauty of the finished masterpiece in equal measure. Inspired by the art of La Belle Époque, the painter collection is overflowing with sumptuous fabrics and exquisite detailing.

Using fabrics as her muse, designer Kate Halfpenny has approached this season with the playfulness, freedom and expert skill of an artisan, indulging her passion for textiles by designing and creating unique embroideries in house. The graphic lines which have become Halfpenny London’s signature are softened with feminine trim. Creamy embroidery peeks from the seams of pockets and pleated tulle plunges into a deep V back.

With each piece named after one of Kate’s favourite artists, The Painter collection is a distinctly modern edit of gowns and separates which will captivate and complement brides who desire stand out, stylish and sophisticated design.

The new designs are coming soon and will be in store in July.
