Monet | Our Wedding Dress of the Week

Halfpenny LondonComment

Meet Monet… This beautiful tabard is definitely one of my favourite pieces from The Painter collection. It has delicious embroidery and 3D flowers which grow upwards from the fabulous frilled hem. It’s finished with Duchess satin bow ties at the shoulder. This piece looks gorgeous draped loosely, or cinched in at the waist with a belt.

Beale | Our Wedding Dress of the Week

Meet Beale… This overskirt completely transforms the Oliver dress. Soft tulle is embroidered with trailing leaves and finished with a Mikado waistband and covered-button fastening. This has been a firm favourite with brides and stockists since we revealed it during bridal market and looks amazing worn with any of our slips or slinky dresses.

Emin & Ellie | Our Wedding Dress of the Week

Halfpenny LondonComment

Meet Emin & Ellie… This combo is the perfect choice for brides-to-be looking for a twist on a traditional shape. The Ellie skirt is made using luxurious Mikado so drapes beautifully, naturally falling into delicious folds and the pockets are a practical touch! The Emin top (actually a bodysuit) makes the most of the stretch Duchess fabric and is trimmed with the most beautiful corded lace to create those sweet cap sleeves.

Kaws | Our Wedding Dress of the Week

Halfpenny LondonComment

Meet Kaws… This top was such a joy to design this season. I designed the beading myself and it’s been a real pleasure to see it take shape. Sheer tulle is adorned with stars and feathers to create a beautiful floral motif and the keyhole back and gathered sleeves are just delicious!

Shown here with the Oliver dress, the Kaws top can also be worn over a slip or cami and looks gorgeous with one of our overskirts for extra drama!

Orko & Parry | Our Wedding Dress of the Week

Halfpenny LondonComment

Meet Orko & Parry… Our wedding dress of the week. This look is perfect for city brides! If you’re a fabric aficionado like me you’ll fall in love with the exquisite hammered silk fabric of the Orko skirt and jacket. The texture feels luxurious against the skin and looks incredible when the light catches it. They look amazing with the silk Parry pussybow blouse and can also look incredible with a corset or cami.

Degas | Our Wedding Dress of the week

Halfpenny LondonComment

Meet Degas… This dress was a huge favourite with everyone who came to see us during bridal market. Due in the boutique this July, I know it’s going to be so popular with our brides.

This gown has a subtle shimmer thanks to the lurex thread woven into the Cornelli embroidered tulle. It sparkles so beautifully in the light and the texture is utterly delicious. The dress itself is sheer and is show here over the Iris slip. The three quarter sleeves and keyhole back give the perfect finishing touch.

Klimt | Our Wedding Dress of the Week

Halfpenny LondonComment

I’m so excited to share our first Wedding Dress of the Week from The Painter collection! Meet Klimt… This beautiful gown features the most exquisite hand-embroidered hydrangeas and each petal is finished with an individual french knot. Delicious!

The skirt and bodice is made using a luxurious crepe-back satin and those gorgeous frills are stiff silk organza. You can choose to have the dress without the frills if you’d prefer a more streamlined silhouette.

Isn’t she just wonderful??

Marylebone Veil | Our Wedding Dress of the Week by Halfpenny London

Halfpenny LondonComment

I absolutely love a veil! I love the drama of it, the sheer decadence. Your wedding day is one of the very few occasions when you can wear one so if you’re going to go for it then you may as well go big! The Cathedral length Marylebone veil ticks every box for me. The beautiful lace trim is so delicate and pairs beautifully with the Marylebone sleeves and Finsbury dress (pictured above).
